The Hellenic Primary School computer department follows the E-Learner curriculum. This is an ECDL (European Computer Driving Licence) endorsed course, developed in South Africa. Based on the regular International Computer Driving License (ICDL), these classes aim to distil the most important aspects of the course into a simpler, more accessible, and most importantly, enjoyable curriculum for primary school children.

There are seven modules in the course that mirror the adult course:
• IT Basics
• Files and Folders
• Drawing
• Microsoft Excel
• Microsoft Power Point
• Microsoft Word
• Internet and E-mail

On successful completion of the external E-Learner examinations in Grade 7, children will be presented with an E-Learner Gold Certificate, equipping students with further computer and technology studies in secondary school.
